Zapach Karkonoszy
An online store and brand site for a soy candle workshop in the Karkonosze Mountains โ built from scratch, from the mockup and visual design through to live sales with capacity variants.
Challenge
Carry the atmosphere of a mountain workshop onto the web and sell four scents in three capacities โ without an off-the-shelf template that would flatten the brand.
Solution
A bespoke design on its own system (cream background, terracotta, forest green, serif typography) and a WooCommerce store built on variable products: four scents in three capacities. Plus a brand site, a soy candle burning guide, a B2B path and the regional Karkonosze quality mark.
What the walkthrough shows
A store and brand site built from scratch
Zapach Karkonoszy โ a workshop making hand-poured soy candles in the Karkonosze Mountains. We designed and built the whole thing: the brand site together with the online store. In the following steps I will show you the most important elements.
- UI/UX
Four scents as four stories
Instead of a dry product list โ scent cards with fragrance notes, an atmospheric photo and a short story of the place in the mountains. The customer picks a mood, not just a product.
- Store / WooCommerce
Three capacities as product variants
Each scent is a single WooCommerce variable product with a capacity attribute: 120 ml and 250 ml with a metal lid, plus the premium 230 ml with a wooden one. Choosing a variant changes the price without reloading the page.
- Trust
The regional quality mark
The local Karkonosze mark got its own section with the logo and an explanation of what it certifies. Regional provenance is a real sales argument here, so it plays first fiddle instead of hiding in the footer.
- B2B
A separate path for business clients
Hotels, guest houses and companies ordering candles with their own label get a dedicated block and a collaboration page โ a second sales channel next to retail, kept clear of the store.
