Websites you get to see
before you pay for them.

Before we issue a single invoice, you get a clickable mockup of your site in the browser — free of charge and with no strings attached. We start building only once you say it is the right direction.

How every project starts here

The mockup comes first. Free, with no strings attached.

Most agencies ask for a deposit and show you a design two weeks later. We do it the other way round: you get a clickable mockup of your site, you open it in a browser on your phone and on your desktop, and only then do you decide whether you want to work with us.

  1. 1

You tell us what the site has to do

Not “what colour do you want”, but: who should land on it, why, and what should happen next. One conversation or a longer e-mail is usually enough.

    free of charge
  2. 2

We build a mockup — an HTML file, not a picture

This is not a PDF or a Figma export. It is a working page: you click the menu, scroll the sections, open it on your phone. You see the layout, the colours, the typography and real copy — not “Lorem ipsum”.

    free of charge
  3. 3

You tell us what to change — or that you pass

The mockup is yours to look at and commits you to nothing. If you decide it is the wrong direction, we part ways with no invoice and no hard feelings.

  4. 4

Only now do we agree on scope and price

The quote is based on something we have both seen, not on an idea in someone’s head. That is why it rarely drifts later.

clickable, not a picture

What you actually get

  • The home page in full layout — from header to footer
  • The mobile view, because that is where most of your customers are
  • Colours, typography and photo style chosen for your industry
  • Real copy in the places that matter, not filler text

What the mockup does not include. It is a design of the look and layout, not a finished site: there are no other pages yet, no working form and no editing panel. We say this openly, because a mockup looks convincing enough to be mistaken for a completed website.

When a new site makes sense

Six situations that bring people to us

A new website is not the answer to everything. Below are the moments when it genuinely pays off — and when most of our projects begin.

The business runs, the website does not exist

Customers find you through referrals or social media, but when someone types your company name into Google there is nothing to open. The simplest case, and usually the fastest — a one-pager takes 7 working days.

The site sits on a website builder and is stuck

Wix, WordPress.com or a free template on a subscription. It looks fine until you need to add a page, speed up loading, or move the whole thing onto your own hosting.

A heavy page builder nobody can touch any more

Divi, Elementor and twenty plugins piled up over the years. Every change takes half a day, updates break things, PageSpeed is red. Onimator came out of exactly this at 30 → 98.

Before an advertising campaign starts

Ads will deliver traffic to a page that takes seven seconds to load and never says what to do next. Rebuilding before a campaign usually lowers cost per acquisition more than tuning the bids does.

Rebranding or a change of direction

New logo, new offer, a different audience — and a website still telling the previous version of the company. The key part is not losing your Google rankings on the way; we handle that with redirects, not guesswork.

The site exists, but you cannot get into it

It was built by a friend who stopped answering the phone, or an agency that keeps the passwords. We recover what can be recovered and rebuild the rest — keeping every address that is already indexed.

If none of these is your situation, write anyway. It happens that after looking at a site we say plainly: a new website will change nothing here, the money is better spent improving what already works. We would rather lose one project than build a site that had no reason to exist.

Scope without asterisks

What every website includes — and what it does not

Most misunderstandings in this industry come from the “included” list showing up only on the invoice. Below is the same list we use in our quotes.

Always includedWhether you order a one-pager or a full company website.

  • Responsive layout — phone, tablet, desktopThis is a standard today, not an add-on, and we charge nothing extra for it.
  • Contact form delivering to your inboxA multi-step version with logic or a calculator is quoted separately.
  • Map with your location and directionsMultiple branches on one map is a separate feature.
  • Technical SEO basicsMeta titles and descriptions, sitemap, clean URLs, heading structure.
  • GDPR compliance — cookie banner and privacy policyA banner with a real choice, not just an “accept” button.
  • SSL certificate and connecting your domain
  • Speed optimisation — cache, compression, imagesWe measure the result before handing the site over and show it to you.
  • Social media icons and linksA live Instagram or Facebook feed is a separate integration.
  • Decorative photography chosen for your industryProduct photos and AI-generated graphics are charged separately.
  • Content editing panel in the self-managed variant

Charged separatelyWe say so at the quoting stage, not after launch.

  • Logo designIf you do not have one, we design it — as a separate line item.
  • AI-generated graphicsStock photography used to illustrate the site is included.
  • Technical maintenance after launchUpdates, backups, small changes.
  • Extending the content beyond the agreed scopeAn extra page, a blog, a second language.
  • Ongoing SEO workA website is a prerequisite for ranking, but it is not SEO itself.

Two ways of running content — and this is the real difference in price. “Ready-made site” is a lightweight file-based build: we hand it over with the content in place, no admin panel and no database. It is cheaper, faster and practically maintenance-free, but every text change goes through us. “Self-managed” is WordPress with a simple panel: you swap texts and photos and add pages yourself, and only this variant supports a blog, a client area or a booking system. The choice is yours — we tell you which one pays off in your case.

What is under the hood

Good looks are the easy part

A design can be copied from a template in one evening. The harder part — and the one that decides whether a site survives three years — is what it stands on.

01 · Foundation

A custom theme instead of a page builder

We do not assemble sites in Divi or Elementor. We write a WordPress theme for the specific project, so the code contains only what the site actually uses. A page builder adds hundreds of kilobytes of code to every page that nothing will ever call — and that is the main reason sites start crawling after two years.

RKMed: 0 paid plugins and builders across 22 pages
02 · Performance

Speed measured, not promised

“A fast website” is not a promise, it is a result anyone can verify in PageSpeed Insights — including you and your competitors. We measure it before handing the site over and we show it. If the score is not good, the work is not finished.

Pilskie Centrum: 100/100 for performance and SEO
03 · Editing

A panel you cannot break

The standard WordPress editor lets you wreck a layout with a single drag. That is why in our themes content goes into prepared fields: you change a text, swap a photo, add an item to a list — and the site still looks the way we designed it. No code and no risk.

Parafia NSJ: the parish priest runs the announcements and gallery himself
04 · Continuity in Google

Rebuilding without losing rankings

The most expensive mistake with a new site is lost addresses: they were indexed, after the rebuild they return 404, and Google traffic disappears within a week. With us the old addresses get redirects written into the theme, not into a temporary plugin, and we verify the mapping numerically before switching the domain.

RKMed: 19 permanent redirects written into the theme

Why not a ready template from a marketplace. A bought theme is cheap upfront and expensive later: to cover every possible use case it ships a dozen modules your company will never touch, and it usually requires buying three plugins with their own licences. A year in, one of those updates breaks the layout, and fixing it needs someone who happens to know that particular template. A theme written for the project has less code, fewer dependencies and fewer things that can stop working on their own.

How it works in practice

From the first conversation to switching the domain

Five steps, in this order. The first two are free, and throughout the build the site lives on our staging address — not on your domain.

1

Conversation and scope

We work out who should land on the site and what should happen there. That also settles whether this is a one-pager or a full company website.

2

A mockup you can click

You get a working HTML file with the layout, colours and real copy. You open it on your phone and desktop and tell us what to change.

3

Build on our address

The site is built on our staging server. You can watch it at every stage while your current website keeps running untouched.

7 days · one-pager
4

Revisions and content

We finish the copy, photos and details. This is where things invisible on a mockup surface — and that is fine, because nothing is public yet.

5

Handover and training

We move the site onto your domain, wire up SSL, set redirects from the old addresses and show you how to run the panel.

the clock starts here

What we need from you

Copy and photos — that is all. If you do not have the texts, we write them (a separate line in the quote); if you have no photos, we choose illustrative ones. Real delivery time depends mostly on how quickly we get the materials and your approval, not on how fast we code.

How we settle

A fixed fee for the project, agreed after the mockup is approved. 20% upfront, the rest on completion. No hourly billing and no invoices “for additional arrangements” — the scope is written down before we start.

Built, not announced

Four websites you can open right now

Every one of them can be checked: visit it live, run PageSpeed on it, read the source. The numbers below come from our own project write-ups, not from a brochure.

Mental health clinic · Piła, Poland

Pilskie Centrum Psychoterapii

A site built from scratch with a custom design and expanded from a handful of pages into a full service. Pricing and team data come from a single source, so changing a price in one place propagates across the whole site. Booking without a form — a deliberate decision given the sensitivity of the data.

RKMed

A custom WordPress theme with no page builder and not a single paid plugin. Ten service areas served by one template, structured data generated straight from the content, and a custom field engine that lets the client edit the site without any risk of breaking the layout.

Onimator

A textbook case of a site stuck on a heavy Divi build. We rewrote the landing page as a custom WordPress plugin and moved the video off the hosting onto a CDN. The effect shows in PageSpeed, but even more in the fact that the site can be managed again.

Parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

What happens next

After the site goes live

This part of the conversation usually happens after the fact. We prefer to have it upfront, so there are no surprises in month three.

Before you write

The questions we get most often

By default we assume you supply the content — nobody knows your company better. If you do not have the texts or do not want to write them, we do it; that is a separate line in the quote, roughly €22–40 net per page.

We do not publish text generated without editing. Material from AI is treated as a draft that we then rewrite for your industry and the way you speak.

Not at the start. Decorative photography chosen for your industry is included in every site — the page looks good from day one. AI-generated graphics are quoted separately (€44–111 net).

It is still worth planning your own photo session within a few months. Real photos of the team and the work do more for credibility than any design trick.

No, provided the rebuild is done properly — and this is exactly the part that most often goes wrong. Before switching the domain we list every indexed address and set redirects from it to the new equivalent.

The redirects go into the theme, not into a temporary plugin, so they do not vanish during the first clean-up in the admin panel. RKMed had 19 of them; at Pilskie Centrum we preserved 10 addresses exactly as they were.

Yes. On larger sites we do it with a script rather than by copy-paste — nothing gets lost and the result can be verified numerically. At Parafia NSJ 160 announcements were migrated together with their history.

Migration usually surfaces content that is not worth carrying over. We say so, but the decision is yours.

A cookie consent banner and a privacy policy are included in every site. The banner gives a real choice — rejecting must be as easy as accepting, and analytics and marketing scripts only fire after consent.

This is not cosmetic: it is the most commonly skipped element and the one that becomes a problem during an audit. A banner does not replace your company’s GDPR documentation, though — that we do not promise.

A business-card site — 7 working days, an extended company site — around 10, a landing page — 5. The EXPRESS package goes live in two days, because it is a fixed bundle.

These timings run from the moment we have the materials and the mockup is approved. In practice it is waiting for content, not coding, that stretches projects.

No. The domain and the server are yours and should stay on your account — that is your asset, not ours. We help pick a provider and set everything up.

Simple sites we can host ourselves for a fee if you would rather not deal with it. It is not a condition of working together and we never use it as leverage.

You get every access credential and the full code. The site runs on WordPress with a custom theme, without licences that cannot be transferred and without plugins tied to our key.

That is precisely why we avoid paid builders: when the licence lapses, the site is left with half its features missing. A theme written for the project does not have that problem.

Yes, and it is a common scenario. Adding a store to a finished site costs about €333 less than building a store from scratch, because the theme, hosting and configuration are already running.

If you know online sales are coming in six months, say so upfront — we will structure the site so that adding the store does not require a rebuild.
