RKMed
A new website for a company handling settlements between medical facilities and the Polish national health fund โ a bespoke WordPress theme with no page builder and not a single paid plugin, content moved by script and fully editable by the client.
Challenge
Swap the theme on a live, already indexed site with real traffic: reproduce the approved mockup pixel for pixel, hand the client full control over the content, and lose not a single URL along the way.
Solution
A bespoke theme with its own field engine โ meta boxes, an icon picker with preview, repeatable lists and section toggles, with no ACF, no builder and no frameworks. A single template drives every service scope, so a layout fix lands on ten pages at once. Structured data is generated from the content fields and adds to the Yoast graph only the nodes the plugin does not output itself. Content was moved with an import script, and its fidelity to the mockup was verified by comparing text and pixels on every page.

What we built โ element by element
A company website built from scratch
RKMed handles settlements between medical facilities and the national health fund โ from reporting and corrections, through tender offers, to audits and staff training. We designed and built the company a new website: a bespoke WordPress theme, content moved by script, full editing in the dashboard.
- Architecture
One template for ten service scopes
Every service scope โ from primary care to hospital treatment โ renders from the same template, fed by content fields. A layout fix lands on all ten pages at once instead of being repeated ten times.
- No dependencies
A theme with no builder and no paid plugins
No ACF, no Elementor, no subscriptions. The client pays no licence fees, and no plugin update can break the layout, because there is nothing to break.
- SEO
Structured data straight from the content
Schema for services, scopes, FAQ and the organisation is built from the very fields the client edits in the dashboard. The theme detects the Yoast graph and adds only the missing nodes instead of duplicating what the plugin already outputs.
- Editing
A field engine that cannot be broken
Prose lives in the visual editor; structural elements โ tile headings, icons, lists โ live in simple fields. A paste from Word has no way to break the composition, because it never touches its skeleton.
- SEO continuity
Not one indexed URL disappeared
Renaming things in the menu did not drag URL changes along with it where the gain would be zero and the risk real. The addresses that did have to change are handled by redirects built into the theme, not by yet another plugin.
- Quality control
Fidelity measured, not eyeballed
After every stage we compared the rendered text and the computed styles of every element, at two screen widths, across all pages. Eighteen of nineteen pages came out at one hundred per cent text match with zero visual differences.
